Rob Ryan is a British artists who specializes in papercutting and screen printing. He lives in the capital and has a store in one of my favourite places in London - Columbia Road. "His work has graced the covers of records and novels and decorated the windows of Liberty. He has collaborated with Paul Smith, fashioned a fairy-tale paper gown for British Vogue and decorated the yoke of the jewellery designer Harriet Vine's wedding dress with miniature jellyfish, fronds of seaweed and a mermaid and merman." . . . and now he's donating 'Bird Lady' to Mother Hen : )
(Great article here about Robs work)

Kat Hannah is an artist from Pennsylvania who paints quiet intimate scenes - many of them depicting a mother and child. They often portray a kind of effortless and unspoken connection between people which is echoed in the relationship between the painting and it's viewer also. Very gentle - very peaceful. Kat has donated 3 Fine Art prints to The Mother Hen Project from her Mae and Bebe series.

Just received this very cute painting on canvas from Animation Director Paul Donnellon who I worked with at The Mill in London. Paul is originally from Dublin. His first animation work was seen in 1986 on Raymond Briggs `When the Wind Blows'. You can check out all his incredible work at VooDooDog .
