Born in Hong Kong, Maria Lee emigrated to the US at the age of 11. Her artistic ability earned her a full scholarship to New York's School of Visual Arts where she studied Illustration. After graduating, she went on to work in advertising and graphic design for the next 10 years. Her passion for art led her to pursue an MFA in computer art at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and thereafter into the 3D world of video games and computer animation. Maria has worked as a digital character painter at Pixar Studios since 2005. She also continues to love painting and drawing and has graciously donated two 4"x 6" fine art prints on wood.
